Trident Distributors is currently hiring an Ecommerce Manager who will be responsible for managing the social media platforms and online marketplaces. Their goal will be to ensure achievement of sales and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Driving the sales performance of our Ecommerce platform
• Managing and executing promotional campaigns
• Providing insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify assortment gaps
• Ensuring good customer service by addressing and ensuring the timely resolution of customer issues or comments
• Working closely with demand planning and warehousing teams in order to ensure smooth order fulfillment
• Providing analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by department, new product sell-through and offer code performance

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Marketing / Business Management or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Having 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of SEO
• Familiarity with ad platforms will be added advantage
• Needs to be well versed in running Instagram and Google campaigns
• Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments is a plus
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools (especially Excel) and Google Applications
• Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala
• Strong abilities to function well in a fast paced and pressurized work environment and good knowledge of retail Ecommerce ecosystem
