Zebra’s wholly owned subsidiary in Sri Lanka, Zebra Technologies Lanka (Private) Limited is looking for competent, dynamic and self-motivated engineers to its state-of-the art Software R&D center in Colombo .

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and maintaining SDKs, software applications and frameworks for Zebra data capture devices.
• Designing, developing and maintaining test automation suites and frameworks for Zebra software applications and SDKs.
• Maintaining test plans, test suits and frameworks for Zebra software applications and SDKs
• End customer engagement including onsite support and integration

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics/Electrical engineering or Information Technology
• At least 3 -5 years of development experience on Linux platform
• Strong knowledge in C and C++
• Experience in Python is desirable.
• Expertise in debugging using kernel logs and crash dumps.
• JNI development (C/C++ and Java) is a definite plus.
• Prior experience with UPOS, Barcodes scanners, RFID readers and UVC cameras is a plus.
