Software Engineer

We are looking to bring on Software Engineers for our ecommerce full-stack squad. The squad will focus on delivering solutions for our ecommerce products which include building web applications to help our customers to buy and sell digital content like Online Games, Vouchers and Mobile Data Bundles. If you love shipping enterprise ecommerce solutions and leverage API-first content management system that make our customer experience seamless, scalable, and secure, this is the perfect opportunity for you! The squad will own both the backend and frontend pieces to our product and work closely with a product manager and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Build and ship end-to-end software solutions in a fast-paced, iterative environment

Own features, services, and databases, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing

Provide insightful code review to your peers while ensuring your code is well written

Help to solve production issues and understand the most effective ways to triage them

Mentor junior developers

• We develop batch data pipelines (DAGs) and use Airflow to schedule and run them

About You

2+ years of solid experience in software development

2+ years of experience in Java on the backend, and React on the frontend

You are willing to work with both backend and frontend parts of the stack, though the proportion of time spent doing each will be influenced by your interests

You have experience working with web services and are comfortable tackling system design challenges

You are interested in building products in an Agile environment: moving quickly, wearing multiple hats, continuously learning.

You are highly motivated, have a strong sense of ownership, and are able to drive complex projects end-to-end

You are a strong communicator, and able to thrive on an agile team, contributing to: stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, and project planning, and working with various internal and external stakeholders

You are a strong English communicator, for both technical and non-technical topics
