Software Engineer

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Design and develop informative and intuitive web applications, including:

• A next generation online bank utilizing the latest technology to bring the best experience to our customers.
• The public facing website for the bank. This site should wow the visitor. It will include animations and other attention grabbing elements.
• A custom built back office tool that helps our customer support solve our customers problems in best possible way.
• The GraphQL API layer, built with Apollo, that is communicating with the above mentioned apps.
• Anything else we come up with along the way.

We have started building the back office tool and are soon starting work on the public facing website. We will start building the online banking project later this year.

We have, so far, chosen to build all of the apps using React.js which is communicating with a GraphQL API that we are building for the back office and the online banking app. We have seen benefits in typing our code using TypeScript. Most of the developers are new to it but experience with that or other typed languages are useful skills, but not a requirement.

You will be part of the team of 5-6 developers, 1 designer, 1 product owner. We also have a QA team that ensures the quality of what we do. We work close together with our designers to make sure our applications look great and are a joy to use.

• Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML & CSS.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with ES6+.
• Experience with Typescript
• Experience with React.js
