Qualifications:

• Degree BSc in IT/ Computer Science/ Physical Science or equivalent professional qualification
• 3 –5 years experience in Software Development with a minimum of 1.5 years experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Min 1 years experience in DevOps/CloudOps or Managed Services lead position professional-level certifications in either GCP or AWS
• Exposure to another public cloud environment will be an added advantage
• Mandatory hands-on experience
  • Linux (commands, shell scrips)
  • CI/CD pipelines, configuration management
  • Database Administration and maintenance (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL etc.)
  • Scripting and programming in Python
• Sound knowledge on Container orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience in developing reusable tools and artifacts using cloud technologies
• Executing cloud migrations and implementing cloud-native solutions
• Ability to guide and respond to security audits, VA/PT on cloud

Responsibilities:

• Support/ Collaborate with Cloud Architect to design solution architectures on public clouds (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• Define technical tasks and estimates required to implement a design
• Assure designs and implementations are documented covering all technical aspects.
• support pre-sales and proposal preparation
• Analyze cloud resources and perform cost optimization
• Define and Implement operational processes for effective cloud governance in cloud Manage Services and cloud operations
• Constantly evaluate and improve current processes or design and implement new processes to meet up to date requirements
• Own and guide automation of CloudOps to improve productivity
• Assure quality and meet SLAs of deliverables by the Cloud operations and Engineering teams
• Excelling in well-architected designs and best practices
• Provide feasible resolutions for technical issues and cloud solutions
• Promote cloud-native solutions for development instead of reinventing
• Design, implement, and maintain all aspects of cloud-based infrastructure
• Ensure uptime and availability of Cloud services
• Participate in on-call duty and Support services as and when needed
• Implement and improve Cloud monitoring and alerting using cloud-native tools
• Assist partners/system users to resolve their technical issues and provide clarifications on queries
• Be responsible for cloud security, security policy creation, and securing cloud assets and their perimeters
