Technical Lead Job Description

Job specific duties and responsibilities

  • Liaise with business analysts, product owners and others in order to understand the business requirements
  • Carry out detail technical designing of software solutions

  • Estimate effort and resource requirements for software projects

  • Implementation of the technical design including coding, calling existing services, creating new components etc.

  • Ensure engineering principals and related processes are adhered to 

  • Mentoring junior members by Identifying possible knowledge and skill gaps and guiding them to bridge those

Required competencies, qualifications and experience

  • Expert on Web Services and related technologies(SOAP/REST)

  • Very good understanding on SOA

  • Core C# Features (Tuple, Extension Methods, Lambda, Anonymous Functions)

  • Concurrent Programming (Task-based Asynchronous Pattern- TAP, Manage/Unmanaged thread pools)

  • XML Transformations Techniques (XML Parsing, XSLT, XSL-FO)

  • Unit Testing Exposure – Advance (NUnit/XUnit along with mocking, coverage)

  • Loggins and Exception Framework Exposure – Advance

  • Experience on CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience in working with JavaScript and SPA frameworks (Angular/React)

  • Experience in working with SQL Databases like SQL Server or NoSQL DBs
