Technical Architect

Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As the S/4HANA Technical Architect you must have the knowledge of S/4HANA, Suite on HANA and HANA database as a foundation including the usages/implementation of Fiori Apps and HANA Live. You will lead the S/4HANA adoption discussions with the customer clearly demonstrating the business benefits of S/4HANA, Suite on HANA and HANA database and overall process of implementation, migration, Near Zero Downtime (NzDT) method, and upgrade. Upgrades will include sizing, architecture, configuration, management, and day-to-day operation of the S/4HANA environment. You will possess specific HANA knowledge including High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Backup/Recovery, and Security related to the HANA platform. You are expected to have knowledge of the S/4HANA roadmap, differences between releases, and new innovations that are with each release. It will be your responsibility to understand the new cloud offerings from SAP. As a pre-requisite you will have experience with Enterprise Architecture with SAP solutions prior to S/4HANA with focus on Business Suite Products (ECC, SCM, CRM, SRM) and SAP NetWeaver Products (BW, Enterprise Portal, PI and Solution Manager) and be familiar with solutioning an upgrade and migration project including migration to S/4HANA and Suite on HANA.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
- Extensive demonstrable SAP experience including at least 5 full end-to end project lifecycles.
- Strong problem solving skills to drive resolution of defects and issues by understanding client needs and presenting options to resolve the problem.
- An ability to identify, develop and implement solutions to gaps to meet the needs of the business
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to deliver high profile activities to tight timescales
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills
