Temporary Research Assistant
Job responsibilities:
- Prepare in-depth plans for technological translation and commercialization of research output from the group.
- Liaise with partners in the Singapore healthcare ecosystem in industry.
- Attend conferences and market the group to potential academic- and industry collaborators.
- Assist PIs in writing grant applications.
- Take part in the day-to-day work of the lab.
Skills and qualifications:
- Post-graduate degree from a reputed university in life sciences, engineering, or medicine.
- Experience interfacing with multinational corporations in academic collaboration.
- Comfortable with engineering and technology terminology.
- Experience contributing writing and ideas for grant proposals.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of the Singapore healthcare system and the technology- and MedTech space.
Qualities:
- Outgoing and sociable with excellent communication skills is a must.
- Self-motivated and able to drive projects proactively.
- Capable of independently working on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate effectively in a highly diverse and interdisciplinary team.
