HCL Tech Lanka is looking for a Lead Tester – Automation in-terms of Test Lead for one of our customers.

Job Details

• Total 5+ yrs in testing with min. 3+ yrs in Test Automation. 3+ years of experience in automating various GUI/non-GUI based applications using Selenium WebDriver and Java language.
• Test Analyst will be working on multiple goals/objectives to drive quality and testing execution for customers in the BFSI Segments.
• The Primary responsibilities and tasks will include: Experience in at least one project implementing BDD (behaviour driven development) using Cucumber/Jbehave and CI (continuous integration) using Jenkins.
• Experience in GIT, Bitbucket, Maven. Experience in testing backend application components like SQL Server, Oracle database, middleware message queues(IBM MQ).
• Extensive experience in test automation framework design, development and enhancement for at least 2 projects.
• Hands-on Experience in writing SQL queries. Experience in API automation testing (Nice to have).

(1.) To participate in functional as well as technical discussions with the client or team to understand functional or design specifications ,highlight performance concerns, inconsistencies ,prepare automated test scripts, maintain test case suite, ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place or kept upto date.

(2.) To create reusable or scalable test automation framework, develop test strategies or plans, maintain test data and to submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.

(3.) To develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features or enhancements are developed and accordingly create work plans, monitor and track the work schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards.

(4.) To develop or guide and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework , enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
