Windows Administrator
Key Requirements
Experience required: 5+ years
- The work involves working on projects and Operations in 24 x 7 Global Customer environment
- Inputs Liaise with HCL internal, external vendor and customer teams to meet project objectives.
- Physical/Virtual Server build of Windows 2012/2016/2019 and Server Hardening.
- Windows Cluster setup & management
- Knowledge of Cisco UCS , Dell Chassis, HP ILO and DELL DRAC.
- Knowledge on VMWARE Virtualization (Hyper-V optional) VM Configuration of disk space, RAM, NIC card, CPU, Creation/ Deletion of VM, Snapshot management
- knowlege of SRM, VROPS will be added advantage
- Knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, Citrix & command line utilities.
- Knowledge of Windows Registry, Network concepts, SAN attached environments and Backup/restore.
- ITIL foundation certified or strong understanding of ITIL practices.
- Provide support for on call escalations and doing root cause analysis of given issue
- Independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time
- Adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
- Work on value adding activities such as Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts
- Ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases.
