Job Responsibilities

• Manage the cashflows and maintain proper records including payout approvals
• Prepare and maintain accurate and complete financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and collections
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
• Collaborate with the finance department to provide accurate and timely financial reports and analyses
• Provide general accounting support to other departments as needed
• Supervise and train accounting staff, including performance evaluations and career development
• Implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field CA / CIMA, CMA, ACCA preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 2 years in a senior position
• Sound verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
• Experience with budgeting, and forecasting
• Knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP or IFRS)
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Enthusiastic, self-driven and possess the ability to perform under minimum supervision
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to deal with both internal and external stakeholders
• Sense of urgency and deadline driven
