Job Description:

KLOUDAC Global Solutions is seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant to join our Colombo branch. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the accounting and bookkeeping functions for a variety of clients, utilizing a range of accounting software. This position demands a proactive approach to month-end closing activities, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of monthly management accounts. The key responsibilities of the Accountant include:

• Processing Financial Statements: Preparation and review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Budgeting and Variance Analysis: Handling budgeting processes and conducting variance analysis to provide insightful financial information and recommendations.
• Taxation Expertise: Applying knowledge of taxation matters to ensure compliance and optimize tax-related processes for clients.

Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Professional Qualifications: Fully or partly qualified in AAT, ACCA, CA, or CIMA.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel: Advanced skills in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Accounting Software Expertise: Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, ZOHO, XERO, etc.
