Assistant Accountant
We are looking to hire an Assistant Accountant for one of our client companies in Colombo.
Requirements
- Ideal Candidate should be a passed finalist or part qualified in CIMA/CA/ACCA
- Over 3+ years of work experience in the corporate sector assigned to the finance department.
- Experience in MS Power BI or other analytical tools will be an added advantage.
- Excellent computer literacy.
- Fluency in the English language, both verbal & written.
- Ability to work flexible hours & work in different time zones.
- Sound knowledge of technical aspects of Accounting standards & Taxes.
- Good team player, willing to take up challenges & able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data & prepare vital analytical reports to support decision-making.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements.
- Handling general ledger, AP & AR accounts maintenance.
- Customer invoicing & vendor payments handling.
- Computation of taxes.
- Support in the budget preparation process.
