Description:

Technion-Israel Institute of Technology is responsible for the academic management of this new university established in Shantou City, Guangdong Province, China gtiit.edu.cn/en. Guangdong-Technion, as the Technion in Haifa, is fully committed to excellence in Science and Technology, both in research and education.

In October 2017, Guangdong-Technion launched its first three undergraduate programs: 1) Chemical Engineering; 2) Biotechnology & Food Engineering; 3) Materials Engineering. Graduate programs in these and related fields are offered in coordination with the Technion’s Graduate School. The teaching language is English.

The recently established research center SEHM
(sites.gtiit.edu.cn/research/centers/science-and-engineering-for-medicine-and-health)
will bring together top-notch scientists in all areas of basic and applied sciences to promote cutting-edge multidisciplinary biomedical research.

Tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks for exceptional candidates are now available in the following areas:

-Mechanical engineering, computational and experimental biomechanics;
-Materials engineering;
-Biomedical engineering;
-Medical robotics and devices;
-Biomaterials science;
-Nanoscience, nanotechnology and nano-medicine;
-Additive manufacturing for biomedical applications.
