Assistant Manager – Data Analytics

Job Role

Inculcate a data driven culture through data driven decision making and data solutions by understanding business needs within the organization.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Provide Management support in creating a structured data analysis framework in the areas of KPI metrics, reporting, and advanced and predictive analytics in a timely manner
• Maintain a good knowledge on Data science and business processes to have a professional decision-making structure and perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management
• Collaborate with Business stakeholders to understand data, reports, metrics, and dashboard requirements and deliver solutions in an effective manner and in alignment with BI strategy and roadmap.
• Maintain documentation of scope, methodology, version control & other best practices in developing dashboards
• Analyzing and presenting data and utilizing your analytics ability to make a recommendation based on business’s objective.
• Ability to work with multiple projects simultaneously whilst delivering projects based on a mutually agreed timeline.
• Supporting adherence to data governance principles, policies, and procedures so that the intended purpose of Data Governance is achieved.
• Participate in system testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Product Demo/Training.

The applicant should possess:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related fields with an excellent academic record.
• Expertise in at least two data visualization tools, including Power BI.
• Knowledge on Life Insurance will be an added advantage.
• Should have a thorough knowledge on Azure Data Factory, Databricks/AML etc.
• Knowledge on open source programming languages (R/Python)
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Abstract thinking and analytical capabilities.
• Strong presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
