Assistant Manager – Engineering (Brandix)

Key purpose of the Job

The Assistant Manager – Engineering is responsible for conducting energy and electrical safety audits in factories/office premises and taking appropriate measures to minimize energy wastage, while ensuring a safe working environment for the employees. The role holder is also responsible for implementing Renewable Energy & Energy Reduction projects and conducting evaluations of electrical designs/installations. The job holder must execute the vested duties and responsibilities in alignment with the Group Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols

Key Responsibilities:

1. Be the subject matter expert for Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy (solar PV) projects
2. Conduct Group energy and electrical safety audits and monitor implementation of corrective action
3. Implement energy reduction projects, and conduct evaluations of electrical designs and building management systems
4. Ensure CAPEX/OPEX management for the relevant area/scope
5. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for achievement of functional objectives

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in the field of Electrical Engineering with strong experience in the execution of projects, and exposure to Energy Management and Renewable Energy.
