Key purpose of the Job
The Assistant Manager – Fabric Technologist is responsible for Raw material Development & quality assurance for current orders of Brandix customers by dealing with Brandix core supplier pillars and the new entries, with analyzing raw material technical data, initiating relevant conversation with suppliers & customers , authorizing development T & A by following up to execution with customer satisfaction, assuring supplier competency, ensuring the developed /presented quality results in bulk order, mitigating risk by escalating issues well in advance to relevant teams including back end operation. Further, facilitating a smooth manufacturing process in factory is also critical to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for analyzing & converting the raw material technical data to the level of supplier able to develop right first time to meet requirement.
2. Identification of suitable best supplier while negotiating the best timeline to develop raw material by mitigating all possible development challenges.
3. Understand & forecast possible raw material risk & identify best solution detailing the route cause analysis and align with customer approvable standards & specifications
4. Responsible to summarize & transfer raw material technical know how to backend team on any specific program & direct them with active involvement for smooth manufacturing
5. Responsible to meet the Fabric technology & Supply Chain KPIs and continuous improvement of the processes.
6. Lead and manage subordinate and building a good network with BU & plant technical team while supporting & respecting peers & seniors
