Key purpose of the Job

The Assistant Manager – Fabric Technology leads the team of fabric technologists and is responsible for ensuring achievement of the technical and quality aspects of garment wet process at development and bulk stages for the assigned customer accounts. Includes risk assessments, ensuring supply, troubleshooting for garment wash and dye issues during production, profitability improvement and supplier relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive fabric technology processes for Bulk, including bulk risk assessments, ensuring supply, trouble shooting for fabric issues, etc.
2. Lead profitability improvement and supplier relationship management initiatives for the assigned customer accounts
3. Manage interactions with the internal and external stake holders for achievement of the functional objectives
4. Evaluating garment wet process ( Colour management and Testing ) and proactively support to resolve technical problems
