ASSISTANT MANAGER / MANAGER – SALES (CARGO)
JOB OVERVIEW
To direct and control sales and operations of the Airline Cargo department including implantation of strategic planning of business activities in accordance with the company’s overall direction and policies in order to achieve its growth and objectives
Key Responsibilities
• To establish strategic policies & plans relating to the division’s sales, customer service & operations.
• To shoulder responsibilities for the profit and loss (P&L) of the division under purview.
• To develop business plans and pricing strategies for new business initiatives.
• To provide all required assistance to our principles and staff in concluding rate/space negotiations and negotiate the best sell rates for the business.
• To continuously widen the existing client base and increase the division’s revenues through providing high quality services in the airline division.
• Assist the management to set an aggressive but realistic annual budget and work towards achieving it.
• To provide able leadership to the whole division.
• To deliver sales presentations to new principles and map out a promotional campaign for targeted new agents/customers.
• To establish, review and maintain overall procedures and operational processes to meet customers and principles’ requirements.
• To effectively handle customer complaints relating to division’s operations.
The ideal Candidate should be
• Sound experience in the airline Cargo industry with minimum of 08 years’ solid and relevant working experience.
• Solid knowledge of the airline cargo industry with an established client base.
• Possess a bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or a Professional Qualification in the airline industry.
You should have a good educational background coupled with excellent communication skills in English, computer literacy, and the ability to work with minimum supervision. Good negotiation, presentation and PR skills are a must.
