Responsibilities

 

Design, configure, implement and maintain all security platforms and their associated systems, such as routers, switches, firewalls including all models, intrusion detection/intrusion prevention, anti-virus, cryptography systems, SIEM, Anti-SPAM, SD-WAN and MDM.

Analysis of the logs in the log management system and develop, implement and maintain the log correlation rules in the SIEM.

Ensure network security best practices are implemented and monitored in routers, switches, firewall configurations and change control management system through periodical audits with PCI-DSS compliance requirements.

Design, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of Networks, IT and operating systems.

Carryout periodic vulnerability testing and lead remedial tasks.

Introduce best-practices in to Network documentations process.

Produce comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for security enhancements.

Conduct deep packet inspection and articulate findings in order to fine-tune alerts.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Should have a Degree in IT/Network or, Network Security.

Should have CCNA and CCNP full certifications.

Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience, out of which 2 years in Executive level.

Should have the technical knowhow of operating a wide range of security technologies, such as correlation engines, network security appliances, scanners, anti-malware solutions, automated policy compliance tools, SD-WAN solution and desktop security tools.

Log management and log correlations with reporting.

Hands-on experience in using, configuring, installing, and tuning of vulnerability assessment tools such as Nexus and Qualys, Network Access control (NAC).

Hands-on experience in configuring, installing, implementing and tuning of anti-virus software.

Strong technical acumen and experience in development of complex solutions in the areas of LAN and WAN.

Hands-on experience in configuring, installing, implementing and tuning of different firewall products (Cisco ASA , Palo alto, Fortigate and Checkpoint), routers, network IPS/IDS, anti-malware protection and proxies/web filtering
