Key purpose of the Job

Assistant Manager – Risk & Control is responsible for planning and performing risk-based audit engagements of the annual audit plan. The role holder is also responsible for delivering assigned consultancy engagements in an advisory capacity to strengthen overall control environment of the group.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assisting in the formulation of risk based annual audit plan and scoping advisory engagements
2. Responsible for planning and executing assigned audits in accordance with R&C Audit Methodology
3. Periodic supervision and review of audit status and providing on the job training/ coaching required to achieve audit outcomes,
4. Preparing and presenting audit findings and recommendations,
5. Assisting in implementing strategic initiatives of the division including the data analytics project
6. Liaising with internal, external stakeholders to network on audit practices, statutory and compliance regulations

Education

Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or professional qualification in internal audit (CIA)

Experience

7 to 8+ years of relevant experience in the Internal Audit function
Exposure to data analytics will be a distinct advantage
