Assistant Manager – Sales and Marketing

Job Responsibilities
- Generating Sales for all business verticals
- Maintaining a steady relationship with the existing client portfolio, Shipping lines, airlines, and other external parties.
- Set revenue targets for the team and initiate strategies in achieving the same.
- Create a sales call plan along with the monthly pipeline.
- Conduct research to identify new markets, customer needs, identify risks and potential for expansion opportunities.
- Provide an end-to-end supply chain solution.
- Identify potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, participating to RFQs.
- Be involved in branding functions such as Digital marketing and other traditional marketing functions (Web and social media)
Person Specifications
- Vast knowledge in Air freight, Sea freight, Customer clearance and projects logistics
- Proven Sales track record with client relationship for quick turnaround of new business
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience in the freight industry (min 1 years’ experience in a similar capacity)
- A degree in Marketing or Logistics
- A Masters would be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, Time management, planning and negotiation skills
- Leadership Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
