Assistant Operations Manager

We are providing maritime services for over 10 years from Europe to the Far East. We are looking for an agile, motivated, and enthusiastic candidate to join our team as an Assistant Operations Manager.

Requirements:

· The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the maritime industry.

· Candidate should have had hands on experience and be familiar with cargo operations in either with container liners or break bulk, general cargo vessels.

· The candidate should be capable and experienced sufficiently to coordinate with the relevant stake holders for berthing, sailing, vessel planning, yard planning or discharging/loading operations respectively for container and general cargo, break bulk vessels.

· The candidate should have had experience in working with the officials of the Sri Lanka Port Authority, Sri Lanka Customs, and other government stake holders.

· The candidate should have experience and be familiar with

a. Ship spare deliveries,

b. Supply of provision and stores,

c. Crew changes,

d. Customs,

e. Immigration formalities

and other similar functions.
