Assistant Treasury Manager, Vacancies At People’s Merchant Finance PLC, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

This role will report to the Head of Finance and manage the treasury function. The Assistant Manager – Treasury will be required to assist the Head of Finance in maintaining a liquidity management framework which is consistent with the Board’s risk appetite and risk profile.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

Enhancing the current funding plan and liquidity management strategy and implementing improvements.

Preparing detailed liquidity reports to ALCO, including where liquidity and funding are at risk of being outside of risk appetite.

Maintaining a 3-year funding plan that supports liquidity management framework and business objectives.

Conduct annual stress testing, incorporating organisation-specific and market-wide scenarios to identify potential liquidity stress sources and ensure that current exposures remain within the risk appetite.

Supporting the Head of Finance with procedures and controls designed to identify, measure, monitor and control interest rate risk

Demonstrated experience in a commercial or corporate treasury environment or similar role in financial services is a prerequisite, and the candidate should possess a degree from a reported local/foreign university along with full/part qualification in CIMA, ACCA or ICASL. The applicant’s age should be below 40 years.
