Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Developer (iOS), located in Colombo but with flexibility for some remote work. The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing and developing complex mobile applications from start to finish, driving innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobility solutions that align with business goals and meet user expectations. The Senior Developer will also be expected to mentor and guide Junior Developers, and to stay up-to-date with emerging trends in mobile technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile application development for iOS
• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile app development.

iOS Development

• Proficient in Swift programming language.
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Familiarity with Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Knowledge of iOS architectural patterns with iOS (MVC, MVP, MVVM, etc.).
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.

Additional Requirement (nice to have)

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin programming languages.
• Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns with Android(MVC, MVP, MVVM, etc.).
• Familiarity with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Understanding of Android app lifecycle and background processing.
