Associate Tutor in Languages (Japanese)

About You
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Japanese with a first degree and teaching qualification (e.g PCET, PGCE or equivalent) with successful teaching experience (preferably in Higher Education). They will possess an effective communications style and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively as a team member and be creative and innovative in their approach to teaching and learning.
About the Role
We are seeking a Japanese tutor to deliver Japanese classes for Edge Hill students, staff and members of the community. Courses will range from extracurricular evening classes, bespoke courses and credit-bearing modules. The Language Centre is an academic department in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Our portfolio includes credit-bearing elective language modules, extracurricular evening classes, an MA TESOL, International Foundation Programme and a range of general and academic English courses. We are a growing department with a mission to promote language learning and increase opportunities for students to learn languages.
