Business Development Manager
Description
- Responsible to ensure the best product/spread offers are introduced for the channel and suitable process is adopted to the identified segment, manage excellent rapport with all stakeholders including respective Business Units and maintain a higher level of team spirit.
- Require achieving business targets collectively with the cluster managers to increase revenue from D2D business in order to meet the business objectives and closely monitor revenue growth, quality of sales, maintain a healthy & sustainable business structure to ensure the business growth.
- Responsible to support the digitalization of the operations by analyzing the end to end requirements and enabling the digitized platforms for the management and other operational stakeholders.
- Consistently assisting the management with strategic recommendations based on the quantitative approaches and strategically directing business partners based on the management directions.
- Ensure the resources are well managed and planned to facilitate the sales teams to achieve stipulated targets. This includes manpower planning, stock and distribution planning etc.
- Ascertain customer classification, offers, method of approach in order to achieve acquisition KPI of the business development unit, plan sales promotions, and support execution to achieve the revenue targets and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets (customer acquisition and revenue target)
- Ensure to understand legal implications in terms of contractual agreements and bonding of agents and ensure implementing a legitimate and efficient recruitment and registering process for onboarding of the cloud sales force.
- Ensure a knowledge sharing process, the platform is aligned, constantly update on required and relevant information such as product information, pricing, product feature, and other information in order to ensure the agent is geared with all relevant information to carry out day-to-day sales.
- Ensure constant development initiatives are in place of the digital learning programs created for the sales team and set milestones to improve and enhance the result.
- Ensure continuous audits are carried out, understand and capture possible operational gaps, processes are consistently monitored, and improvements are made in order to ensure a better customer experience, minimizing any fraudulent activity
Entry Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience with exposure to a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree along with a MBA is preferred.
- Experience in strategic planning and analysis, marketing/market research, 360 degree campaign management, competitive intelligence & business acumen .
