Job Profile and Key Accountabilities:

Leadership job role of HR expertise reporting to Managing Director responsible for the overall designing, strategizing, planning and directing the human resource acquisition, engagement, performance, development, employment regulatory compliance and leading employer branding initiatives of the Group consisting over 10 manufacturing units in Sri Lanka, discharging decision-making authority, driving a robust workforce strategy and providing crucial contribution as a member of the senior management team towards the overall business growth and transformation in addressing the key accountabilities to:

  • Effectively deliver strategic partnership duties applying HR expertise in formulating corporate goals and strategies for optimum utilization in bringing out the best in people, working closely with the leadership team to create and plan out operational success
  • Design, plan, manage, monitor, and evaluate the overall goals and innovative workforce strategies of the people agenda ensuring achievement of targeted operational goals and other milestones of HR initiatives with measurable steps and indicators
  • Uphold and promote ethics and professionalism, diversity and inclusion, Heading the compliance, effectively working with cross boarder teams in delivering long-term value for the stakeholders in enhancing the people driven operational excellence
  • Secure trust and respect in strategically engaging the management in staff development, career progression, motivation, optimum utilization and in retaining an engaged, accountable, competent and committed high-performance teams

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • BSc in Human Resource Management / MBA Specialized in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institute (mandatory)
  • Over 20 years’ experience in Human Resource Management that includes recognized multinational work exposure or application of best practices in apparel manufacturing
  • Over 10 years proven experience in the management as CHRO, GM or VP – HR overseeing human resource management, preferably in manufacturing operational environment
  • Courage for whirling adaptability and fostering change with admirable hope and courage for endurance and resilience with undeterred focus and purpose
