Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Cloud developer you would be helping to Modernize Applications using latest Cloud Technologies

Responsibilities:

  • Write data processing code using Apache Spark and Python as per IBM Cloud Development Standards.
  • Developing the Data processing task using PySpark such as reading from external data sources/files and merge data, perform data enrichment and load in to target data destinations.
  • Create Technical Design documents

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Should possess 2+ yrs of good hands on experience in developing the Data processing
  • Developer must have good knowledge of Apache Spark and Python Programming.
  • Task using PySpark such as reading from external data sources/files and merge data, perform data enrichment and load in to target data destinations.
  • Must have working experience on the Cloud.
  • OpenShift will be added Advantage.
  • Good working knowledge on Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD knowledge for Data pipelines will added advantage.
  • Working experience on Agile Methodology will be added advantage.
  • Should have experience in writing Technical Design document
  • Apache Spark , Python, Cloud Platform (OpenShift Preferably)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Should be able to mentor junior resources.
  • Java
