Cloud Security and DevSecOps Practice Director

We’re looking for a Practice Director to join our team to lead and advance our Cloud and DevSecOps practice areas within Security Consulting. This role requires thought leadership experience in the Cloud and DevSecOps domains in addition to technical leadership experience managing some of the brightest software security experts and thought leaders in our field. This role will be in the fore-front of Security Consulting consuming all cutting-edge problems and approaches, and providing practical technical solutions to enable new service and/or product creation.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for defining the practice offerings technical approach, providing technical oversight, as well as execution and delivery of planned project deliverables and milestones
• Leading engagements designed to facilitate clients co-innovating in the practice area, building the practice capability and technical depth within the organization, and scaling the practice’s application to Fortune 100 organizations
• Demonstrating an active role in the entire engagement lifecycle from account planning through pre-sales, delivery, execution and customer satisfaction
• Balancing outstanding client services with effective optimization of resource utilization
• Solid understanding and advocating for the technical needs of the customer, defining and controlling project scope and complexity while ensuring customer satisfaction through outstanding execution
• Potentially acting as technical or functional lead on a customer facing engagement and providing technical direction to project teams daily. In this capacity, they oversee the accuracy, completeness, and compliance (to internal and external expectations) of the project deliverables and project governance
• Providing guidance and mentoring to fellow consultants on technical topics
  Assisting in creating the training program required to build technical depth in the organization and create the next wave of subject matter experts in that service area
• Assisting in the creation of the content for Instructor-Led Training offerings that could be used for internal and external training efforts
• The ability to interact and resolve problems from different stakeholders in a collaborative fashion
• Performing technical and market research to understand where the service offering needs to be 18-24 months from now to allow for innovation to remain relevant and provide growth
• The ability to work effectively in a culture and environment of remote workers and globally distributed locations and customers

Key Qualifications

• Ability to lead multiple project teams; give directions and ensure that tasks are executed consistently
• Proven experience in building, communicating, and managing cloud environments
• If you have managed a lift-and-shift or lift-and-refit migration to the cloud, or you have delivered a non-trivial cloud native project you are interesting to us
• Led or delivered cloud security assessments that involved review or development of secured cloud environments, architecture risk analysis (or threat modeling), cloud automation, instructor led training, assessing cloud adoption maturity, and/or developing cloud friendly security standards or security policies
• Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.  Knowledge of RedHat / OpenStack is a plus
• Industry experience in dealing with the top Cloud concerns:
  Identity and Access Management
  o Strategies to ensure adequate Compute, Network and Storage Security controls in cloud environments
  o Secrets and Credentials Management solutions e.g. CyberArk, Hashicorp, Vault etc.
  o Centralized Logging
  o Container Security
  o Incident Response, Disaster Recovery and Cloud Forensics
  o Compliance as Code
  o Strong knowledge of cloud automation frameworks like Terraform, Ansible, Chef etc. is also a plus
• Working knowledge of container technology and services to include Docker and Kubernetes
• A minimum of 10+ years of industry experience, preferably with security or process improvement/quality assurance related projects
  o Although consulting experience would be a plus, the ideal candidate may also be      an Engineering Manager or a Lead Architect
