Communications and Design Assistant Officer, Vacancies at Environmental Foundation Ltd. (EFL), Colombo, Sri Lanka.

EFL is looking for a competent and quick moving Communications and Design Assistant Officer to coordinate EFL’s EU COLIBRI project communication products and creative visuals to effectively contribute to required project deliverables. The selected individual will coordinate with vendors on digital content to be developed, ensure it’s quality, and in some instances do small scale designs as well.

We encourage candidates who have following qualifications and skills to apply for this position:

1 to 2 years of experience in digital designing, producing creative visual content and communication products or in a similar role.

Proficiency in design and video tools such as Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, CorelDraw, Lightroom and Premier Pro.

Basic web design and video editing experience preferred.

Knowledge in image optimization, photo manipulation and print requirements, paper quality, etc.

Proficiency in social media tools and outlets required.

Attention to detail.

interest in marine environmental and ecology.

Strong command of written and spoken English, and Sinhala/ Tamil.

A keen interest in marine environment and ecology.

Self-motivation, ability to team play and work with deadlines.
