Job Description

We’re looking for someone with a passion for operational improvement to join our Protection & Resilience Team. The Protection & Resilience Team strives to improve efficiency, standardisation and consistency across all Operational areas through information gathering, data management, and communication. The team also ensures business and operational risk is minimised through system performance management and Business Continuity management and testing.

The Resilience Officer role is to support Allianz in delivering a leading approach to Business Continuity Management and Crisis Management. – Experience of planning and facilitating workshops small and medium-complexity

 

 

Resilience Officer Responsibilities

 

· Business Continuity and Crisis Plans and Resilience Ownership

· Responsibility for the maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Crisis Plans and support a variety of testing of these plans

· Carry out annual business impact analysis to assess operational risks and actions to mitigate.

· Ensure action plans are agreed with business owners, appropriately documented and carried forward.

· Conduct ad hoc analysis and support a variety of projects as required

· Support and collaborate with the wider Protection & Resilience Team

· Create and maintain effective plans for respective locations (as signed off by relevant business owners)

· Regularly provide Head of Protection & Resilience with up to date plans (Annually)

· Ensure Crisis Units (CU) and relevant parties have up to date plans

· Ensure emergency contact details are in place and updated on a regular basis.

· Upload Business Continuity Plans and Business Impact Assessments onto Business Continuity System

· To have oversight of critical suppliers, Business Continuity processes/plans.

 

 

Testing

 

· Deliver a magnitude of tests in line with exercise schedule and requirements

· Produce reports for regular management forums.

· Testing text cascade systems & recording results.

 

 

Training & Awareness:

 

· Provide new starters with an overview of Business Continuity and their roles and responsibilities.

· Provide a training and awareness concept for all employees
