Key purpose of the Job
The role holder will be reporting to the Manager – Business Analytics of the Brandix Group. You will be a key member of the Brandix Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE) and support the journey of the organization to become an analytics-driven company. The role will require you to build relationships with business users and ensure that insights generated from analytics are meaningful and actionable to influence business users in implementing the recommended actions. The individual will also evaluate and quantify the benefits from the recommended initiatives and promote the use of analytics for decision-making across Brandix.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build a deeper understanding of the business problems identified and prioritize for solution
2. Perform exploratory/ descriptive analytics to establish the nature of the business problem and key contributors to it
3. Evaluate the role of analytics solutions in resolving such business problems whilst identifying other actions such as process changes required to resolve the problem
4. Build and implement required analytical models/ tools in selected areas
5. Evaluate improvements and finetune the analytic models/tools built previously to cater for the changing business dynamics
6. Work closely with the business users and drive change management to assist the journey towards an analytics-driven culture
7. Train key internal team members on usage of the built models
