Key purpose of the Job

The SBU BCIP Head heads the BCIP (Brandix Continuous Improvement Process) function for the SBU. The role holder spearheads strategy and implementation of BCIP / lean initiatives across the functional pillars (Front end, PPC, VSM, Ideal factory, Supply Chain) in the SBU.Providing hands on project management and coordinating multiple projects with the leadership stakeholders is critical to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Responsible for strategizing the BCIP road-map, implementation plans, budgets and KPIs for the SBU.
2. Oversee achievement of the BCIP objectives across the functional pillars, including roll out of BCIP Brandix Lanka Ltd. Projects, monitoring of business results, process compliance, lean culture development, etc.
3. Drive strategic synergies with key internal and external stake holders for realization of the SBU BCIP deliverables.
4. Lead and manage the SBU BCIP team.

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Clothing Technology/ any other relevant field with relevant certifications in Lean & Six Sigma Black Belt

Experience

8 to 10 plus years of relevant experience with strong knowledge of Operations concepts, apparel manufacturing / business processes and BCIP / lean techniques
Minimum 3 plus years in lean leadership role, spear-heading BCIP / lean initiatives across the business value chain
