Director of Interventional Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Services
The Karsh Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Department of Medicine, Cedars-Sinai Health System, Los Angeles is seeking candidates at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor to lead its Interventional Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Services. Candidates should be nationally recognized and have experience in pancreatic and biliary research and educational issues related to gastrointestinal endoscopy, interventional gastroenterology and pancreaticobiliary diseases. Candidates should also have a national reputation for teaching, research and clinical activities in the interventional gastroenterology and pancreatic-biliary disease area. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with an established multidisciplinary support team and pursue research and teaching opportunities in a collaborative environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical Degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- Unrestricted California license as Physician
- Medical Center Medical Staff Membership
- National reputation for teaching, research, and clinical activities in interventional gastroenterology and pancreaticobiliary diseases
- Demonstrated skills in the administration of a GI Endoscopy Unit, with dedication to endoscopic teaching; track record in conducting endoscopic and gastroenterology research
- Eligible for appointment to the appropriate academic rank in the CSMC Professorial Series.
