Key purpose of the Job

As Executive – Finance, you will be reporting to the Business Unit Accountant of the SBU. You will be responsible for monitoring raw material inventory and supporting the business with RM reporting and analysis pertaining to consumption, excess inventory, etc., as well as advising the stakeholders on inventory provisions/schedules for the concerned SBU. You will coordinate with the SBU Supply Chain team for recovery actions and inventory governance/improvement projects for the achievement of the Inventory KPIs. You will also support the company’s future plans and help drive the Brandix values and culture across to all its employees. The position will be based in Welisara.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of reports and analysis for monthly Inventory Review meetings
2. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders for value creation projects (e.g. SC, Inventory related)
3. Overseeing on-time and accurate payment of suppliers, sub-contracted operations, etc.
4. Ensuring governance and adherence to internal controls for Inventory in the SBU in alignment with the stipulated guidelines

Education

Charted Institute Of Management Accountants (CIMA) or Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Financial/ Business Management

Experience

0 to 2+ years of relevant experience with good knowledge of financial accounting and inventory concepts
