Executive – Health, Safety & Compliance

An exciting opportunity to join TEXO (Pvt) Ltd, a new MAS manufacturing plant in Thulhiriya in the Cotton Fabrics space as we look to streamline and grow the business. We are on the lookout for a dynamic and energetic individual to join our HR team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, monitor and sustain international standards/practices in health, safety and compliance in all areas, whilst conducting training and awareness sessions for a safe working environment for all employees
• Organize and conduct internal compliance audits for the plant whilst, supporting them in areas of improvement
• Facilitate Customer Compliance audits and Certifications as per the given guidelines by the plant by liaising with the external parties, Certification bodies and relevant plant representatives
• Organize monthly Health, Safety and Compliance Meetings and facilitate discussions among plant representatives.
• Update the compliance intranet on a regular basis whilst, uploading relevant information with regard to audits etc. to factory database in order to ensure that relevant/ accurate data is available at all times

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree / Diploma in relevant field.
• 1—2 years of working experience in a similar capacity at Apparel / Textile industry.
• Good Communication skills.
• Intermediate or advance knowledge in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
