Executive – Planning – Careers at MAS Group – Biyagama – LK.

Noyon Lanka on the lookout for a dynamic and energetic individual to join into our Planning team to achieve optimum utilization of production resources by preparing accurate production plans and to drive/involve in problem solving process in order to achieve delivery commitments to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Sales & Marketing teams and obtain customer requirements, prepare/ update block book plan, liaise with internal planning team and reserve plant capacities accordingly in order to meet timely delivery of order to the customer.
• Follow up agreed production plan with the relevant unit planners/ production teams until goods are manufactured as per the customer requirement to facilitate on-time delivery.
• Review and analyze actual production against the plan and inform relevant parties on the significant deviations in order to ensure corrective action is taken immediately to achieve delivery targets.
• Attend meetings such as pre-production, production, discuss/verify any production/ technical related issues, propose/find alternate solutions in order to ensure smooth flow of production and on time delivery of goods to customers.
• Review customer order forecasts and reserve capacities/ raw material connecting with marketing team and supply chain team accordingly.
• Take initiatives with the team to improve overall performance of the planning function by continuously improving systems and processes.
• Drive relevant KPIs related to assigned for the job role.
• Perform additional duties commensurate with the assigned role, as and when requested by the management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in BSc. Mathematics/ Statistics /Textile Engineering/Production engineering/ Operation Management
• Minimum of 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience in SAP system, Advanced Excel & Microsoft Office packages
• Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently & in a team
