Executive/Senior Executive- Finance

We are on the lookout for a partly qualified individual to join BDO – Sri Lanka team as an Executive – Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Updating & review Collection and Vendor Payments in SAP, and preparing cash flow report,

Bank reconciliation

• Coordinate overall functions of the Accounts Department in liaison with the Shared Accounting Service Center
• Verify payment vouchers and petty cash vouchers.
• Check and confirm the L/C, Telegraphic Transfers, Pay orders and BGs
• Prepare & Submission of Stamp duty and SVAT inputs, related schedules & returns to authorities
• Provide inputs and related documents to tax consultant for the calculation of VAT, CIT liability and WHT
• Attend accounting/tax-related matters with relevant authorities as a company representative.
• Performing and maintaining documents related to Internal Controls
• Monthly book closure and review of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account

Qualifications and Experience:

· Partly qualified CA, CIMA or ACCA

· Minimum 2 –3 years of Industry/ Service Sector experience in a similar function preferably inclusive of Audit experience.

· Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, Tax Policies & Regulatory Reporting Environment.

· Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.

· Ability to build and uphold excellent business relationships.
