Executive/Senior Executive – Finance, Vacancies At CWIT, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Job Responsibilities

• Finalizing all relevant taxes in consultation with the tax consultants and ensure that all statutory payments are made and returns are filled on due dates (VAT/SVAT/WHT/Income Tax/Stamp Duty etc.)
• Responsible for accounts payable including, invoice booking, payment processing, online banking etc.
• Preparation of quarterly/annual financial statements in compliance with Sri Lanka Accounting Standards and liaise with auditors to complete the audit within the given deadlines.
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements and management accounts
• Preparation and provision of guidance in the formulation of budgets/ reforecasts and monitoring of overhead and project expenses
• Coordinating with banks to provide efficient treasury management for the company
• Ensure all transactions are posted to SAP systems and coordinating with shared service unit for any discrepancies
• Liaise with banks and internal/external auditors
• Preparation of financial information for quarterly board meetings

Qualifications and experience

• Part/Full qualification in CIMA/ACCA/CA
• A degree in Accounting/ Finance will be an added advantage
• 1-3 years prior experience in accounting and finance/ auditing /taxation
• Hands on experience in SAP or similar ERP system will be an added advantage
