Executive – Sourcing-(Brandix)

Key purpose of the Job

 The Merchandiser / Sr Merchandiser – Sourcing is responsible for supporting in the raw material sourcing process in the development stage for the allocated RM category / customer account in the BU, as applicable. Coordinating with the Suppliers and internal stakeholders (for example, PD, Design, Sample Room) to achieve the sourcing KPIs for the allocated RM category / customer is key to the role holder.

Key Responsibilities:

1.) Responsible for sourcing of raw material during the development stage as per the requirements of the Design & Development teams.
2.) Responsible for executing sourcing solutions with the aim to reduce raw material spend, compress lead times while adhering to quality standards.
3.) Responsible for the complete supplier management process for both existing and potential suppliers.
4.) Prepare MIS, documentation and reporting for functional sourcing activities, as per procedure.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Diploma in Textile or Clothing technology or Materials management or any other relevant stream

Experience

• 0 to 3 years of experience in the sourcing/ merchandising function
