The School of Engineering, Science and Technology at Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá – Colombia – is opening multiple Assistant Professor positions in Industrial Engineering and Electrical Engineering. One position is also open to hire a professor to coordinate our undergraduate program in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. Successful candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields, have teaching experience, and conduct research in one or more of the following fields or related areas:

-Logistics

-Digital transformation

-Decision Sciences and finance

-Organizational transformation

-Industry 4.0

-Service industry

– Telecommunications

– Embedded and Cyber-physical systems

– Communication networks

– Internet of Things

-Cyber Security

-Computer Graphics

-Information Security

– Artificial Intelligence

– Data Analytics

Other related areas will be considered. We are looking for candidates with a strong international background and experience in research as well as teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Successful candidates will be expected to take part in academic and administrative tasks pertaining to the construction and development of new undergraduate and graduate programs. We look for highly motivated candidates with a will to generate impact through teaching, research and projects in collaboration with external partners. Certified fluency in English and Spanish is required, equivalent to the B2 level in the European Common Framework.
