Finance – Intern
JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operations within the company.
Comparison of the actual expenses against budgets.
Validating supporting documents, checking for approvals, entering Invoices/Bills of Suppliers and Services Providers and managing Creditors Ledger.
Preparing bank reconciliations and assist with bank related activities.
Computation of Allowances and other miscellaneous dues and processing payments based on approvals.
Validating documents, obtaining approvals and processing payments for Petty Cash and ensuring reimbursement of Petty Cash in a timely manner.
Processing of Customer Invoices in line with Agreements and Work Done and sending to Customers after approval along with Debtors Management.
Reconciliation and maintenance of Fixed Assets register.
Assisting Finance Team in preparing various accounting and management reports including Final Accounts.
Facilitating audit activities of the Company.
Maintaining proper filing system.
Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Undergraduate or Part qualifications in AAT / CASL / ACCA or equivalent.
At least 1 year of work experience in a Commercial Establishment / reputed Audit firm.
Possess good knowledge & experience in MS – Excel and MS – Word.
Good written and verbal communication skills along with hands on experience in spread sheets and reporting tools.
Experience in reputed accounting packages would be an added advantage.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
