Job Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Develop, implement and ensure compliance with internal financial accounting policies and procedures.
• Responsible for Monthly Financials, Commentary and Macro-Economic Analysis.
• Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized and disposed of as appropriate.
• Facilitate the annual external audit and provide leadership to the annual report preparation process.
• Take ownership and provide leadership to IFRS 17 implementation project.
• Authorizing company journal entries.
• Any other tasks assigned by Head of Finance.
Person Specifications
• Should be a member of either ICASL or ACCA.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a reputed conglomerate is advantageous.
• Knowledge & experience in financial intermediaries/ Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork skills – learning to work with others and generating positive results as a team.
• Adaptability – being adaptable to change is essential.
