About the Position

• Design, develop and improve new/existing solutions in JavaScript (React Native, React and Node)
• Ability to support existing systems, fix bugs and roll out long term solutions
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the development and support process
• Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders
• Participate in Sprint Planning
• Provide coaching and guidance to other Developers
• Using your technical knowledge, to suggest the most ideal way to complete projects
• Develop integrations that consume internal/third-party APIs
• Maintain a high standard of coding, documentation, write automated tests, and participate in code review

About you 

• 5 plus years of experience as a full-stack developer, delivering maintainable, scalable solutions for mobile and web.
• Strong React Native and Nodejs.
• Strong knowledge in the JavaScript (frameworks, libraries, developer tools)
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+
• Strong understanding of designing and working with relational databases i.e. MySQL
• Strong understanding of coding best practices, and the ability to write clean, well-documented, maintainable code that is easy to understand.
• Experience with building reusable components across multiple applications and code bases
• Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest
• Good understanding of working with version control (git) in a team environment
• Knowledge of designing, maintaining, and consuming RESTful APIs
• Collaborative approach to ways of working and good communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to develop solutions
• A keen interest for experimenting and learning new technologies.
