Key purpose of the Job

As Executive – Garment Technology, you will be reporting to the Manager – Garment Technology. The Garment Technologist is responsible for coordinating and providing technical support for the assigned products/styles. This includes understanding customer requirements, coordinating development risk assessments, consumption costing, pattern development, coordination for sample development/fit sessions, obtaining sample approvals and supporting the handover of developed styles to Production.

Key Responsibilities:

1.  Understand customer requirements and coordinate for pre-sample development requirements, including       risk assessment, consumption costing and validation processes
2.  Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for achievement of the sample development OTD and         customer satisfaction objectives
3. Collaborate with relevant internal teams for effective Production handover of developed styles

Education

• A Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Clothing Technology

Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in Product Development with strong exposure to Technical/Fit and Construction concepts
• Ability to read and interpret customer requirements and specifications in English with a good command of spoken English.
• Ability to manage time and duties in an orderly and timely manner.
• Sound understanding of pattern making will be advantageous.
