Key purpose of the Job

The role holder will support the Group Engineering Head, Group Engineering pillar heads and other Engineering functional stakeholders by providing performance analytics to support business decision making and assisting implementation of group Engineering functional requirements such as; Planning and execution of special projects, sustainability and R&D. Furthermore, the job holder is responsible to execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Managing sustainability initiatives across the Group
2. Implementing projects to optimize resource utilization in the Group, including energy  and water.
3. Carrying out research and development projects for apparel manufacturing improvement
4. Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of apparel production machines, equipment such as HVAC, generators, boilers compressors etc.

Education

Bachelor of Science Engineering in, Electrical (Extra Low Voltage), Mechatronic, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering

Experience

Good communication skills, analytical skills, working knowledge of IT systems/Microsoft packages
