Key purpose of the Job
The Graduate Trainee is responsible for coordinating and providing technical support, and follow-up with relevant stakeholders for the assigned RM and product development or Technology Translation to ensure final garment development meets the customer’s inspiration. This includes an understanding of customer requirements, Product research, evaluating the development risk assessment, consumption costing, and coordination for sample development with third-party resource facilities as well as within the company.
Furthermore, the job holder is responsible to execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health and Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Understanding of customer requirements, researching with the customer and consumer requirement for the pre-sample development requirements as per the most appropriate level – right first time.
2. Identifying the possible risk assessment and discussing with supervisors to take necessary mitigation action and concerns on the consumption and cost validation processes in the overall product.
3. Analyzing and developing the targeted or focused raw material with reliable supplier sources- right first time to meet stakeholder requirements.
4. Translating Technology or value-added sub-processes, following reliable sources and striving to meet the stakeholder requirements dully on time
5. Negotiating the best timeline for RM/Product development or their technology transformation sources and dully following up any consequences and escalating to the supervisors to resolve.
6. Maintaining the development tracking document and KPI monitoring tool with assurance of up-to-date records.
7. Sticking with the company Health and Safety protocols and external parties by maintaining Brandix RITE values. and engaging within the department, co-department
