Key purpose of the Job

The Graduate Trainee is responsible for coordinating and providing technical support for the assigned products/ styles to ensure garment development and sampling approval. This includes understanding of customer requirements, development risk assessment, consumption costing, pattern development, coordination for sample development /fit sessions, sample approvals and supporting handover of developed styles to Production.
Furthermore, the job holder is responsible to execute the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety guidelines, instructions and protocols of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Understanding of customer requirements and coordinating for pre-sample development requirements, including risk assessment, consumption costing and validation processes.
  2. Coordinating with the internal and external stake holders for achievement of the sample development OTD and customer satisfaction objectives.
  3. Collaborating with the concerned internal teams for effective Production handover of developed styles.

Education

Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Clothing Technology

Experience

CIMA Qualification will be an added advantage
Good team player with excellent communication skills.
Sound MS Excel knowledge
