Duties and Responsibilities expected of the ideal candidate is to harness the best performance of the human capital of the company by employee engagement, training and their wellbeing. In achieving these objectives the following ancillary aspects of Human Resource Management will need to be handled with efficiency and commitment. This will include, inter alia, the responsibility for:
Ensure timely recruitment, induction, training and development of employees.
• Ensuring the effective operation of the attendance and payroll Systems; monitoring absenteeism, leave records, and HRIS; provision of periodic and ad hoc reports as required by the Board.
Monitoring and managing the outsourced manpower.
Providing month end reports and information related to HR and Payroll of Managers and Executives.
• Organizing special events / People engagement in welfare activities.
• Ensuring a culture of cleanliness and discipline in the premises.
• Monitoring of employee related matters at two other locations of the company. Managing the HR related aspects of the Sales staff in the field.
• Maintaining up to date employee records including EPF/ETF requirements.
• Planning and executing employees’ welfare and other activities in consultation with the CEO.
• Responsibility for effective employee grievances handling and disciplinary procedures.
• Other aspects of professional management of human resources.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications;
Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university in Sri Lanka or overseas related to HR/ Business Management / or similar subjects. Or
• Experience in working with HRIS software.
• Strong interpersonal skills / communication skills/leadership skills.
• PQHRM from CIPM or an MBA from a recognized local or foreign education institute.
• At least 10 years of experience in the field of human resources management, of which at least 4 years should be in the Manufacturing Industry.
